OUR FOCUS

With the world of today, when the Internet and technology are expending exponentially, cyber security MUST become the main concern for individuals and all organizations alike. Cyber security has become such a big concern in the last two decades because the vast exposure to cyber threats using the Internet and relying on technology. Today, most malicious hackers/attackers seek the opportunity to perform a variety of cyber-attacks from a remote location using the Internet and other communication mechanisms and skill. These malicious people always try to be innovative and use many tools and techniques such as Malicious Software (Malware), Man-In-The-Middle (MITM) attacks, and developing exploits to reach their goals and mission. By accomplishing their goals and mission, they try to put their hands on any valuable information, assets and/or data. Hackers try to gain and maintain remote control access to machines and/or networks in order to put their hands on sensitive information and data that they can either expose online or sell or even to prove that nothing is safe. Individuals and businesses cannot afford, nor do they want to take the risk of being victimized by hackers and malicious code. This is where UBERSEC security team gets involved in cyber security.

OUR FREE APPLICATIONS AND TOOLS

We work diligently to create and provide FREE of charge tools to support the cyber security community. Check out our blog and downloads pages to find out about these tools. Our famous tool is the uberharvest email harvesting depot.
This FREE tool was designed to get a user to enter an individual website or load a text file containing many URLs at once. Once the URL(s) have been entered, the uberharvest application crawl through the website (and all the links within that website) searching for valid email addresses. The application can search for email addresses randomly (i.e. [wildcard]@[wildcard].[wildcard] or the user can chose to search for email addresses for a specific domain (i.e. for www.ubersec.com the application can search for all @ubersec.com email addresses within the website). Then the user can chose to either print the results on the screen or save them into a text file or print them out to an XML file with XSL style-sheet. In addition, the application can also be used to search for Mail Exchange (MX) server Internet Protocol (IP) addresses corresponding with each URL that has been found by the uberharvest application. And then that information can be used by the uberharvest application to test if the MX server is also an Open-Relay server or not. Yet, the uberharvest application also provides the user with the option to use a random user-agent crawling each link and performing the scans using anonymous proxy servers.
